I still haven’t figured out the picture thing, at least I can add them, but haven’t figured out the ‘wrap around’ part..

Friday, Aug.17, we went with Quirings and Childs to the PIM’s Panecillo restaurant.  It is high on a hill that overlooks Quito.  The Virgen De Quito monument is on top of the hill.

I had a lamb stew with avocado and rice.  I think rice comes with everything.  It was all really good.

Saturday, Aug. 18, we walked around town.  We went to a huge mall and ate lunch.  We ate at the American Deli.  It was interesting.  American did not mean USA. The food was local and very good. Meat, beans and rice.  It was such a crowded place to eat.  I finally sat at a table where a man was eating and then another man plopped down beside me.  So the table was full when Larry sat down.  There was nothing empty, so you had to sit down, or someone else would!

I am the very proud mother of five wonderful sons, all of whom love the Lord and want to please Him. I also have two super daughters-in-law who support their husbands and also love the Lord. Last, but not least are the four and counting grandchildren God has blessed our family with. We are very thankful for such a wonderful family and are trusting that God would continue to expand our family and they would continue to be His servants. I grew up in Colorado. Married and joined Trans World Radio with my husband, Larry. We spent some time on the island of Bonaire and then 18 years on the continent of Africa, in South Africa and Swaziland. The years since 1989 have been spent in Indiana.

  1. Hi Mom. To get the text to wrap, I think all you have to do is select the photo in the edit window and then select the alignment you want from the icons across the top of the text window. Hope that works. Love you.
