Friday, Aug.17, we went with Quirings and Childs \"\"<\/a>to the PIM’s Panecillo restaurant.\u00c2\u00a0 It is high on a hill that overlooks Quito.\u00c2\u00a0 The Virgen De Quito monument is on top of the hill.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I had a lamb stew with avocado and rice.\u00c2\u00a0 I think rice comes with everything.\u00c2\u00a0 It was all really good.<\/p>\n

Saturday, Aug. 18, we walked around town.\u00c2\u00a0 We went to a huge mall and ate lunch.\u00c2\u00a0 We ate at the American Deli.\u00c2\u00a0 It was interesting.\u00c2\u00a0 American did not mean USA. The food was local and very good. Meat, beans and rice.\u00c2\u00a0 It was such a crowded place to eat.\u00c2\u00a0 I finally sat at a table where a man was eating and then another man plopped down beside me.\u00c2\u00a0 So the table was full when Larry sat down.\u00c2\u00a0 There was nothing empty, so you had to sit down, or someone else would!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
